Sacred Wick was born from my own journey through some of life's most difficult seasons. As a survivor of inflammatory breast cancer, I experienced firsthand how quickly life can change — and how important it becomes to find peace in the middle of uncertainty.
Cancer didn't just change my body. It changed the way I see the world.
There were days filled with fear, grief, and exhaustion. But there were also quiet moments when lighting a candle, curling up with a book, or simply taking a deep breath became an act of hope.
Those moments mattered. They reminded me that healing isn't always dramatic.
What healing looks like
Sometimes healing looks like slowing down.
Sometimes it looks like creating a peaceful space when life feels chaotic. Sometimes it looks like choosing joy anyway.
I learned that surviving and healing are not the same thing. Healing isn't a finish line. It's a collection of small moments, moments of grace, of rest, of choosing hope on days when it doesn't come easily.
